Born on December 21, 1937, Jane Seymour Fonda is an American actress, politician, writer, former fashion model and a fitness guru. She has been the Academy Award winner two times and was the recipient of the American Film Institute AFI Life Achievement Award.
Fonda made her Broadway debut in the 1960 play “There Was A Little Girl”, for which she received the first of two Tony Award nominations, and her screen debut later in the same year in “Tall Story”. Her first husband was Barbarella director Roger Vadim. A seven time Academy award nominee, she received her first nomination for They Shoot Horses, Don’t They and won two best actress Oscars for Klute and Coming Home. This truly reveals that she had a successful acting career since rising into limelight in the 1960s. she also prides herself with unparalleled fitness prowess. Cosmetic surgery is a common trend that is being followed since years and celebrities and even Fonda has publicly confessed it is her secret for her current enchanting looks. Although celebrities go under the knife to prove their self- esteem, Fonda claims that she went through such procedures to have her “look reflect hoe she really felt inside; Fonda says she had grown weary and tired of not looking like the inner core of her being.” She does not shy from saying that cosmetic procedures have worn her extra years in the movies at a time when she would have retired.
She says she didn’t want her procedures overdone and hence, during her surgery she insisted that doctors retain her wrinkles.
Fonda has undergone the knife to have her chin, eyes and neck operated and has had a facelift in her early 40s. in her early age she underwent a breast implant and confesses to have undergone a chin lift. After getting her bags below the eyes removed, she now does not possess a tired look. She accepts that she feels younger and has a positive attitude towards ageing. People and critics now claim that she is a “glamorous grandma.”
